Customer Service Representative:
It takes a unique person to be a Verizon Wireless Retail Customer Support Representative. You must be an incredibly good listener, get excited about solving problems, find variety stimulating, and take pride creating outcomes that are positive for your customer, your company, and yourself. When you join our team, we’ll teach you about the wireless industry, and our products and services. And, you’ll provide our customers with all kinds of support, from programming phones and activating service, to troubleshooting problems and explaining bills - sometimes even making a sale. When you start here, you can take your career in any direction - and go as far as your talent and ambition will take you.

Day to day
Today, you might be showing a customer how to set up voicemail or use the camera feature on her new phone. Thursday evening, you’ll be explaining the text messaging charges on someone’s bill, and maybe suggest a service plan that will better cover the features he uses most and save him money. On the weekend, you may be helping the sales team complete orders and contracts, answering questions in person or over the phone, coaching new team members, and turning a frustrated customer into a happy one…which is our very best advertising.

Retail Sales Representatives:

You’ll need a year of related experience, and although we don’t require a college degree, it’s a plus. But just as important as product knowledge or sales technique, is your commitment - to the professional sales process, to setting and meeting ambitious goals, and to creating a positive customer experience. After all, you’re the reason shoppers become customers, and tell their friends about us. You’re the engine that grows the company and an incredibly important member of our team.
