Positions Available:
Assistant Managers

• Drives sales in assigned areas by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and demographics.
• Oversees and enforces the execution of food safety standards, cold chain compliance and food merchandise quality by evaluating the temperature, storage, sanitation, date coding, product rotation and recalls on stocked merchandise.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for Associates in assigned area by selecting, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and ensuring diversity awareness.
• Models, enforces, and provides direction and guidance to Associates on proper Customer service approaches and techniques to ensure Customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within Company guidelines and standards.
• Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas by analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews, developing and implementing action plans, and providing direction and guidance on executing Company programs and strategic initiatives.
Market Human Resource Managers
Operations
• Evaluates the efficiency and execution of Human Resource operations during regular Facility visits.
• Travels to and from Facility by various travel means.
• Oversees Human Resource related action items posted on the WIRE and ensures execution.
• Conducts effective District/Associate meetings and classes.
• Trains and communicates effectively with all Associates to ensure consistent execution of Company policies.
• Manages confidential information and documentation as required by Company policies, and local, State, and Federal guidelines.
• Actively practices the 3 Basic Beliefs and upholds the Ethics Policy of the Company.
• Implements and enforces all Company procedures, policies, and applicable laws (e.g., State agency visits, OSHA), and ensures that Associates do so as well.
• Communicates and explains Human Resource related Company and Facility direction to Managers in individual and group meetings about Facility performance, current plans, and actions to be taken to meet business needs.
• Analyzes results of the STAR for the People and Management sections, develops action plans, and communicates and oversees execution of plans.
• Promotes an environment that exceeds the expectations of the Customer.
• Greets every Customer and Associate within a ten foot radius, and trains Associates to comply with policy of greeting.
