Stores
Store Management – As part of Talbots management team, you will assist with the responsibilities for store operations, sales volume, outstanding customer service, visual presentation, maximizing profits by controlling expenses and protecting company assets.
Candidates for this position must have a minimum of 1-3 years of management experience. Qualifications include excellent communication skills and strong leadership abilities, as well as excellent organizational and time management skills. Additional candidate qualifications include an outgoing, motivated approach with assertive, independent decision-making skills. Ability to travel may be required and ability to relocate is desirable.
Sales Associate - The Talbots Sales Associate is responsible for providing outstanding service to all customers while meeting all customer service standards of selling. The Talbots Sales Associate is expected to achieve individual goals and is responsible for the maintenance of merchandise on the selling floor, as well as housekeeping duties.
Candidates for this position must have six months of sales experience and demonstrate high levels of customer service and selling skills. This position is full-time or part-time and requires flexible availability for scheduling.
Tampa MIS Facility
Programmer Analyst – We are seeking a skilled individual with 2+ years PC application development experience in an E-Commerce environment.
Candidates must have experience in VB OR VB.Net, SQL Server 2000, and ASP OR ASP.Net. Ideal candidate will also possess strong business analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills. HTML, VB or VB.Net, SQL Server 2000, ASP or ASP.Net.
Database Analyst – Oracle Financials - DBA with primary focus in Oracle Financials Administration. Responsible for implementing, upgrading and maintaining our GL, Purchasing, AP and FA modules running on UNIX/Oracle platform. DBA talents include installs, upgrades, security, patching and tuning will be heavily utilized. Work in group or individually, on call rotation. Provide support to developers re: SQL code for performance considerations and UNIX shell scripting for automated processes currently in place. Develop database backup & recovery plans and document Disaster recovery scenarios. Data Warehousing or Peoplesoft experience a plus. Additional experience with Oracle Apps 11i necessary. 4-7 yrs of Oracle Database and Application experience, prior experience supporting Oracle Financials in a single & multi-tiered environment on IBM AIX platforms. Oracle 9iand 10g database and upgrades.
Database Analyst – PeopleSoft - We have an immediate opening for a Database Analyst with a primary focus in PeopleSoft Administration. This individual will be responsible for implementing, upgrading and maintaining our HR, Benefits Administration and Payroll modules running on a Unix/Oracle platform. Database Administration talents including installing, upgrading, security, patching and tuning will be heavily utilized in support of this position. This position will require an individual who can work both individually and within a group and will be responsible for attending status, project initiation and planning meetings. This position reports to the Manager of Database Administration.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related discipline with 4-7 years Oracle Database and PeopleSoft Administration experience. Prior experience with supporting PeopleSoft applications and PIA (PeopleSoft Internet Architecture) in a single and multi-tiered environment on IBM AIX and Windows platforms. Experience with Oracle 9i and 10g databases and upgrading from 9i to future releases. Prior experience migrating PeopleSoft projects and applying application and PeopleTools patches and upgrades utilizing Change Assistant. Database administration hands on experience with monitoring, tuning, backups utilizing RMAN, database refreshes, disaster recovery and capacity planning. Excellent communication and documentation. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related discipline with 4-7 years Oracle Database and PeopleSoft Administration experience.
Senior Programmer Analyst - We are seeking a skilled individual with 3+ years PC application development experience in an E-Commerce environment. Candidates must have experience in VB.Net, VB, ADO, COM+, XML, SQL Server, ASP, ASP.Net, IIS, JavaScript, VBScript and HTML. Ideal candidate will also possess strong business analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills. VB.Net, VB, ADO, XML, SQL Server, ASP, ASP.Net, IIS, JavaScript, VBScript and HTML. E-Commerce exp. DTS, VB, ASP, Com+, and IIS is a plus.
