Electric Boat is looking for bright, energetic and innovative individuals who can develop and apply advanced technology for the design and construction of one of the most complex machines made by man – the nuclear submarine.

To ensure a constant flow of qualified men and women who can make significant technological contributions and grow with the company, Electric Boat is a major recruiter of college graduates.

New college graduates are assigned to a position consistent with their academic background and career interests. Some of the typical engineering disciplines include Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Nuclear, Naval Architecture, Acoustics, Computer Science and Civil/Structural. New college graduates receive on the job training under the guidance of senior personnel. We also provide a series of engineering presentations and technical lectures. In addition, each new engineer is given the opportunity to participate in a rotating job assignment to learn first hand the range of engineering activities at Electric Boat.
