Position Information: Northwest Airlines is seeking qualified candidates for Flight Attendants in our In-Flight department. These are full time positions located in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, and Detroit, Michigan.
Responsibilities: Provide high quality Inflight service, consistent with Northwest's standards to ensure a positive and safe customer experience.
Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age or older. Professional, well groomed image. High school diploma or equivalent. Two years minimum customer service experience. Height 5'2 (without shoes). Legally authorized to work in the US and able to make multiple exits and entrances to the US and all countries that Northwest Airline's serves. Must posses a valid passport with an expiration date exceeding 2.5 years on day one of training. Language of destination (Japanese, Chinese, French and German) preferred and verified by a competency test. Must be able to read and communicate passenger service and safety requirements clearly. Able to dependably work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays away from home. Able to relocate to any of the nine FA bases upon completion of training. Able to tolerate variable and frequent time zone shifts and frequent altitude changes. Able to demonstrate physical ability to perform position related functions. Able to do basic math calculations(cash exchange and time zone change).
