What are AFLAC’s products?

A variety of supplemental health and life insurance plans which do not compete with major medical plans.
The products are normally made available by businesses to their employees on a voluntary basis; however, they are also available on an individual basis and thereby providing an unlimited client potential.
The advantage to a business owner is the ability to add benefits to employees without adding cost.
The advantage to employees and individuals is the ability to choose only what their needs may be while staying within an affordable level.

What is the normal activity of the AFLAC representative?

Marketing to business owners and employee benefits managers through a variety of methods as provided in the AFLAC training system.
Educating and enrolling employees in the AFLAC benefits.
Networking with individuals to generate both business and individual clients.

How is the AFLAC salesperson compensated?

First, through an advanced commission schedule that allows for daily income.
Second, through a renewal or residual commission based on all sales for the life of the policies. This provides an ever increasing monthly guaranteed income.
Third, through a unique stock bonus plan which rewards the associate with AFLAC stock that many use as a retirement plan.
An average income example on just a small 10-person business account would generate a $1,000 to $2,000 advance commission; a $500 annual renewal commission; and $200 to $300 in AFLAC stock.

In addition, there are bonus plans, contests, trips, and awards that can be achieved.

Is there training?

Yes, both classroom and field training are provided. All training and sales materials are provided at no cost to the associate. This is truly an entrepreneurial opportunity that can be compared to a franchise only without the start-up or buy-in fees and overhead expenses.
A $75.00 license fee may apply.
