Betsy Day is the founder of Special Projects Consulting, LLC, a "Learn-at-Work" company. Celebrating 15 years in business, Betsy continues to successfully deliver training and coaching programs for Leadership and Management Development, Effective Communications and Presentations, and Employee Engagement. Betsy is an encouraging relationship-builder with credibililty, reliability and a sense of humor - the foundational principles that have created long-term clients in both the public and private sectors of business, government, government-related, healthcare and academia. Whether in the training room, or in a one/one coaching session, or presenting to an audience, the process is always of personal, practical and relevant, with a focus on:

Being a natural relationship-builder and collaborator, my goal is to put people at ease from the start of any program, coaching session or presentation. This approach sets a welcoming tone to learning and development. Years of experience balancing both the business and human levels of learning enable me to engage people as we move through our learning together. Consistent positive feedback from audiences and clients has helped me to leverage my strengths, skills and abilities. Combining the "what" I do and "how" I do it has led to long-term clients and business growth. I continue to learn about leadership, management challenges, creating and delivering effective presentations and employee engagement. My experience as an internal consultant and other learning opportunities at work have enriched and deepened my external consulting expertise.
