Become a Women For Hire Campus Contact

We’re looking for smart, savvy, and motivated college students to help spread the word about Women For Hire to their campuses. If this sounds like you, then join our Facebook team! As a Campus Contact, you’ll create a Women For Hire Facebook page for your school, invite your friends and classmates to join, and post weekly updates from our office that will include everything from career tips to discounts and giveaways for the members of your group. Gain real experience with professional social networking (always a plus on the resume) while helping your fellow students take control of their career paths along with some pretty cool perks .

As a Campus Contact, you will:

Start a Women For Hire facebook group for your college or university.
Invite your friends and the women of your campus to become members of your Women For Hire group, and encourage them to invite their friends as well!

Post weekly content that you receive from Women For Hire.
Women For Hire will send you weekly updates to post on your Women For Hire Facebook page, including career tips and advice, information on Women For Hire events, and special offers and pportunities for the members of your group.

Start your own conversations on the discussion board.
Use the discussion board to encourage members of the group to exchange their own career tips (advice on how to give a good interview, networking tips, resume help, etc). The discussion board can also be a good place for members to ask each other for career help and advice.

Add wall posts and pictures.
The wall can also be a good way to exchange tips, as well as a place for members to introduce themselves, share job search stories, etc..

You should also feel free to add photos of your friends and fellow students to your page. Keep it professional though—no bikini, party, or alcohol pics please.

Be creative and have fun!
As you develop your Facebook page and gain more members, feel free to share your suggestions for improving the page with your Women For Hire contact person. We’re always interested in new ways to reach out to young professional women.
